What domain registar do you use?

What host do you domain registar do you use when buying a domain?

I usually use either NameCheap.com or GoDaddy.com
NameCheap, has good deals, and I like godaddy because 1 dollar .info domains, and I have always used them.

I don't pay for my domains, as I am too young to have a online bank.
I usually use free domain place like .co.cc or .tk, but .tk is best because you do absoluetly nothing to get it. Completely free.

You do realize that even though .co.cc is free, it's not free for life like .tk is? I'm not sure how much, but I know they charge you for it after the first year. And .co.cc and .tk aren't exactly domains, they're more of a mask to just make long urls shorter. Real domains are more like .com, .net, .org. Anyways, my co-administrator I believe got our domain from NameCheap.. I think...

Yeah, Ashley; you are right, at least with dot.tk accounts, they are just url redirectors. I am not so sure about .co.cc. I've always thought that was a real domain.

I'd think that may be the reason they charge you after a while. I wasn't even aware they did, as I have never used it.

I know they aren't real domains, and I haven't used .co.cc for months.
I use .tk because I can use it for multiple websites, and most of the domains are too long, or involve completeing surveys an earning 'points'.
When the forum gets donations in a few months/year it can then get a free domain.
Plus, .co.cc requires you to print it's URL on your homepage.

.co.cc is actually a subdomain =P It can also be a redirection. Notice how when your browser asks you to save passwords for a Forumotion forum, it says "Would you like to remember this password on nstars.org" So it only shows the actual domain, not fudge.forumotion.com. If you look at Co CC save password, it says "Would you like to remember this password on co.cc" Which kind of proves it's a domain on it's own, and any addition is a subdomain. I just use sub-domains for now.

I still like .tk, even though it's very obviously a free domain redirection.
You can use it for several forums, too.

I currently use Nominet for my .co.uk

co.cc you have full DNS over. Dot.tk Has been used for spyware and key loggers dot.tk just cant be trusted anymore

I used name.com to register my domain. Fast service.

We use ForuMotion's domain name, paid for.

I wasn't ware of that. Does that means other people won't trust my say roczuz.tk link to my forums?
Or does that means they can get a keylogger through that?

GoDaddy has a great reputation. So expensive.

godaddy is cheap, i have over 30 domains with them =-)

I use Godaddy, it's the best for me plus holds all my domains.

I'm using .co.cc for my current, unopened forum. I haven't had any problems yet and it beats the mysitename.webhostingfox.org link.

The only thing I don't understand about .co.cc is the fact I have to mention it somewhere in the forum? I used it once before.

I really like using NameCheap. Their control panel is easy to use, plus they have some great contests from time to time.

GoDaddy is my second choice, they are pretty cheap for registering domains.

I used Hawk Host to register my domain.

I use .tk, it's free and shorter than .com.

I've got 1 registered with NameCheap, 1 with FastDomain, 1 with 123-Reg, 1 with GoDaddy and 1 with DynaDot.

Godaddy is the best domain name registrar. It provide fast and reliable services.Its rates are also very reasonable.
