When you run your forum community do you install a lot of modules? I don't really care to install a bunch but if they are handy and or the community will use it then I have no problem taking the time to do so.

I used to put a LOT of mods on my site, if I could. I always figured the more features I had, the more members I would get.

It did work for a short term, but in the long term, it didn't.

I only really tend to install the ones I need for the particular niche of the forum. such things as a cash mod, reputation mod etc are usually need for a promotion forum.

Personally I also only use the minimum I can get away with. I only activated them when they were member requested. In my opinion a site looks cleaner without them, but they can be helpful to users.
