How many active members do you need to have...

How many active members in your opinion does your forum need to have until it's considered as an "active" forum site?


I say about 5. If you have about 5 active members it'll make others want to post and reply making and encouraging other members and staff to stay active. Plus there is new stuff on the boards all the time so it doesn't seem slaggish or unactive.

I'd say at least 10. 5 is a bit too small.

Five people is enough to me for it noty to be considered dead, however I don't consider it active unless there are many visitors during the past hours and at least two pages of latest replies...

I don't mind semi-active forums. XD

I say about five 100 is a big forum to me

between 5-10, it's not much but better then no body posting right?

I'd say at least 500, because only then will a high enough percentage be active users.
