What is the best forum software in your mind and why?

I prefer phpBB3 for it's customization and easy install. You?

Well, phpBB for some things, but MyBB will always be simpler imo.

MyBB 1.6 is my favorite software. It's easy to customize, manage and install new plugins. It also looks great.

MyBB sounds great. If 99% of people say so.

There is no correct answer to the question as all software comes down to preference. All forum software has good and bad points.

I know. MyBB is simple, but Phpbb is also professional.
MyBB is almost too simple, all white and boring.

Well that is a hard choice as MyBB and PhpBB rule! But if I had to choose I would go for MyBB because of the awesome themes.

Yet I do not like Mybb themes so yet again you proved my point that all software are good in their own right and it just comes down to choice.

I actually don't like the MyBB themes, they all look the same.
And I suppose it does matter on opinion.

Forum posting with do follow signature is really a great way to get quality links for your site.. Like blog posting, Forum posting is one effective way of link building if you what to drive tons of traffic to your site.

I use MyBB and PhpBB. Both run really well and I enjoy using them both. I would go for paid but I like those two more than any other software.

At one time I used phpbb and was continually getting hacked. I went with VBull and that is what I use because I know how. It's familiar to me.

Best forum software in my opinion would be vB3. It's professional, easy-to-use, and works good for me.

It's Phpbb for me, it's simple and easy to use.

phpBB mainly because its the easiest to handle and also has great features and can be customized to look amazing.
