Leave forumotion..

Yea.. This is my suggestion..

Most of forums on Forumotion looks awful because of the advertisements and the old phpBB system..

I suggest that you shall leave Forumotion and go on for a real phpBB forum

What do you think?!

I'm trying to. Currently, I'm having loads of trouble moving it, because I want the posts to be intact.

I recommend moving to zetaboards, it's the best free host around in my opinion.

How to transfer, though?

There is no reason a forum can not become huge while involved with Forumotion.

It looks good, but I can't help feeling the simple, basic look of MyBB would be better.

I don't know a way to move from Forumotion. If I we have access to FTP then I surely do know how to move to MyBB.

I kind of like the idea of MyBB actually. That is a pretty good software to use for a promotion forum, because there are all sorts of mods and plugins that you can add to it and whatever. I vote for MyBB myself, personally.

I agree Phpbb is much more customizable and easy to use, with the Phpbb you have many more options to choose from.
